Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame Slashes Its Way to Android
Prince of Persia, a video game created by Jordan Mechner and currently being developed by Ubisoft, has a new game in the series entitled The Shadow and the Flame. The well-known action-platformer is now available on Android for £1.99 or around $3.56.
In Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame, you will carry on with the epic tale of a wanderer/prince searching for his mysterious past that will redefine his future. The odds are stacked against you as you must save your Princess and eventually your kingdom. The game sticks to the original storyline two decades ago and is set after Prince of Persia Classic. Players will navigate 14 levels using either the traditional virtual joystick or the gesture-based touch controls in a smooth and acrobatic platforming gameplay. Battle various enemies with an improved combat scheme, new combo system and different powers and weapons to obtain. Social integration is implemented as well as you can climb the leaderboards, unlock achievements and brag about your score via Facebook.
You can watch the launch trailer below. At first, I thought the intro is pretty similar to Harry Potter, and I never saw the Prince unleash destructive combos. How about you, what do you think of this new Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame?
